We're WordPress-free. Deliberately.
WordPress runs roughly 40% of the web, which makes it the most-attacked, most-patched, most-plugin-dependent platform on the internet. For a busy business owner, that translates into a steady drip of "your site needs an update" emails, broken layouts after plugin upgrades, and a slow, bloated public face — even when it's working.
Our static-first foundation removes the source of that pain. There are no plugins to update, no themes to break, no admin login to defend, and no monthly checklist. The site that goes live is the site that's still there next year — fast, secure, and exactly as designed.
WordPress isn't bad. It's just not what we build. If you've got a WordPress site and want off, we'll migrate it across to Ignite or Kindle. If you want a new WordPress site, we'll happily point you to someone who specialises.

Common questions
How does the AI generation actually work?
You describe your business, your customers, and the impression you want to give. We turn that into a structured brief, generate the page content and layout, and review every output before it goes live. AI handles the production volume; a human signs off the result.
What if I need to make changes myself?
For most small sites it's quicker to send us the change than to log into anything. On Ignite it's a fixed-rate per request. On Kindle the 3 included monthly hours cover most ongoing tweaks and consultations — use them or lose them within the month, with no carry-over. Anything beyond that is at our standard hourly rate, agreed before we start. On Forge we can build whatever editing surface fits your team — from a custom admin to a headless CMS.
Can I start small and upgrade later?
Yes — and the upgrade path is built in. The design system and content carry across all three tiers, so Ignite → Kindle is genuinely incremental. Kindle → Forge is a bigger jump but the design language and content travel with you.
What about email?
Every hosting tier includes unlimited mailboxes at your domain — set up you@yourbusiness.co.uk, sales@, info@, whatever you need. Standard mailbox hosting covers most small businesses. For advanced spam filtering, shared calendars, drive integration, and tighter Outlook or Gmail experience, we can set up Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace mailboxes on request — billed separately at the platform's standard rates.
What's not included?
Domain registration is separate — we sell those too, or you can bring your own. Marketing services (SEO content writing, paid ads, social management) aren't bundled, though we can advise.
Why static-first?
Static-first gives the best performance and security profile for the SME market. No database to attack, no admin login to compromise, no plugin updates to chase. The site loads instantly because there's nothing to compute — it's already built. For most small businesses that's exactly the right trade-off.
